Terms of Service & EULA

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Route 66 — Best of Americana, a service owned and operated by Mediterra Capital LLC ("Route 66", "Mediterra Capital", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

Route 66 is a discovery platform for the Americana music community. Playback is delegated to licensed third parties (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube). We do not host recordings.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You are responsible for the security of your credentials and for activity that occurs under your account.

3. Acceptable use — zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users

Route 66 has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. You may not upload, submit, post, or transmit any content that is unlawful, harassing, threatening, hateful, sexually explicit, exploitative of minors, defamatory, or that infringes anyone's rights.

Any user who submits objectionable content or engages in abusive behavior will have that content removed and their account may be ejected without notice. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team within 24 hours; violating content is removed and offending accounts are ejected on confirmation.

4. User-generated content

Anywhere Route 66 accepts submissions — including reports, notes, artist onboarding replies, and comments — you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and moderate that content solely for operating the service.

Every submission is subject to:

• Automated filtering for prohibited categories.
• A visible "Report" control so any user can flag it.
• A block control so you can hide content from accounts or artists you don't want to see.
• Human moderator review within 24 hours of a report.

5. Third-party services

When you connect Spotify Premium (or use any linked third party), the third party's terms apply to your use of that service. Route 66 stores only the tokens and identifiers needed to operate the integration; you can disconnect at any time from Account.

6. Account deletion

You can delete your Route 66 account at any time from Account → Delete account. Deletion removes your authentication record and cascades to your favorites, follows, blocks, and third-party connections. Aggregate analytics and moderator audit logs are retained without personal identifiers.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, especially the acceptable use rules in Section 3. We may remove content at our discretion.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Route 66 disclaims all warranties and is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages.
